Maltipoos are designer dogs and a combination of Maltese and Poodles. They are affectionate and gentle. They make super companions for empty-nesters and are excellent therapy dogs. They just love to talk with you. Like human kids, they are attention seekers too and might moan to get your attention.

But, you have to beware a bit because this athletic, intelligent dog can act independently and challenge first-time dog parents. You have to train your Maltipoo to quiet it at your command.

The price of F1 generation Maltipoo puppies is frequently low  as just one Maltese and one Poodle are needed to make them while the price of F2 generation Maltipoo puppies is more as the breeder needs to wait up until their F1 pets are old enough to reproduce, then wait again for the next generation to develop before they can be reproduced.

Maltipoos are active and energetic. Being fully active, they want to have daily exercise, a good walk, and play in the yard.

History of Maltipoo

Being a fairly new crossbreed, the Maltipoo doesn't have much of a history at all. In the last 20 to 30 years, Maltipoo was first intentionally bred in the U.S. Their even temperament and "hypoallergenic" reputation increased their popularity in a short span. The Maltipoo is now one of the most popular designer dog breeds.
